Sidney Lawrence papers, 1943-1945

The Sidney Lawrence papers include correspondence and other records documenting his tenure as manager of the Junction City United Service Organization (USO) between 1943-1945. The correspondence discusses USO programs, how the war has affected various individuals, and matters concerning hospital claims. Included are 78 rpm recordings that have also been transferred to cassette tape, from the Wainwright USO Radio House in Junction City and from CBS New York.
